Syarat Am

• Pelajar lelaki Tingkatan Tiga Tahun 2011.
• Warganegara Malaysia.

Syarat Fizikal

• Jantina – Lelaki.
• Tinggi minimum – 152 sm.
• Berat minimum – 40.5 kg.
• Body Mass Index (BMI) – 18 sehingga 27.
• Ukuran dada 74 sm (biasa) dan 79 sm (tarik nafas).
• Penglihatan – Baik dan tidak rabun warna. Jika berkaca mata hendaklah tidak melebihi 6/12.
• Sihat tubuh badan dan tidak mempunyai penyakit yang boleh memudaratkan diri jika melakukan aktiviti ketenteraan dan lasak.

Syarat Akademik

• Memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya 4A (Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Inggerís, Matematik dan Sains) 2B di dalam peperiksaan Percubaan PMR 2011 dan berpotensi cemerlang dalam peperiksaan sebenar PMR 2011 nanti.
• Pelajar yang aktif dalam sukan, kelab, persatuan dan unit beruniform akan diberi keutamaan.
• Perlu menduduki Ujian Khas MTD sebagai prasyarat Kemasukan ke Tingkatan 4 di Maktab Tentera DiRaja.

Ujian Khas MTD (UKMTD)

Ujian khas MTD terdiri dari perkara seperti berikut:

• Ujian Fizikal – Wajib lulus pemeriksaan kesihatan dahulu
• Ujian Akademik = 50%
  • Keputusan Percubaan PMR – 40 markah

  • Penilaian Sukan – 10 markah

• Permohonan kemasukan ke MTD Tingkatan 4 2012 ditutup pada 30 September 2011.
• Borang permohonan yang lewat diterima dari tarikh yang ditetapkan tidak akan dilayan.
• Sekiranya tiada jawapan sehingga 30 Januari 2012, permohonan dianggap tidak berjaya.

Permohonan boleh dibuat secara online dengan melayari pautan Applikasi Sistem Permohonan Biasiswa Yayasan Sabah 2012.

Setelah membuat permohonan, Borang permohonan yang lengkap diisi dan berserta salinan-salinan kad pengenalan, sijil kelulusan akademik dan lain-lain yang telah disahkan benar hendaklah dikemukakan kepada:-

MMU 2012 intake online application with ptptn loan

Perhatian!! 

Pemohon hendaklah memohon pembiyaan pendidikan secara dalam talian (online) melalui laman Web Permohonan pembiayaan Online di laman web www.ptptn.gov.my. Laman web ini hanya boleh dilayari dengan menggunakan Internet Explorer versi 8 atau Mozilla Firefox versi 2 dan ke atas. 

Tarikh tutup permohonan adalah pada 30hb March 2012. 

Pemohon perlu membeli No. Pin bernilai RM5.00 di mana-mana cawangan Bank Simpanan Nasional sebelum membuat pendaftaran kali pertama permohonan pembiayaan pendidikan PTPTN. 
No PIN hanya sah enam (6) bulan selepas tarikh daftar permohonan (pendaftaran kali pertama). 

Bermula dari 1 January 2012, semua pemohon pembiayaan PTPTN diwajibkan membuka akaun SSPN. Pembukaan akaun SSPN boleh dibuat di kaunter perkhidmatan PTPTN di One Stop Center, KL Sentral dan semua cawangan ejen PTPTN di seluruh Negara. (Disarankan membuka akaun SSPN di mana-mana cawangan Maybank bagi memudahkan pembukaan akaun). Maklumat lanjut mengenai pembukaan akaun SSPN sila layari laman web www.ptptn.gov.my atau emel simpanan@ptptn.gov.my. 

Pemohon juga perlu mempunyai akaun individu CIMB. 

*PENTING 
“Tarikh mula pengajian – Tarikh pendaftaran seperti yang tertera didalam surat tawaran MMU. Kesilapan mengisi tarikh mula pengajian boleh mengakibatkan permohonan anda boleh ditolak.

Bagi pelajar Foundation tahap pengajian sila pilih Integrasi. Pemilihan nama kursus juga perlu betul. Sekiranya terdapat kesilapan didalam memilih nama kursus, permohonan anda juga boleh ditolak. 

Bagi pelajar yang telah tamat Foundation dan juga Diploma, perlu mengisi borang penangguhan bayaran. Borang seperti dilampiran. Borang yang lengkap perlu dihantar terus ke PTPTN.

Nilai UC’s Education for All (EFA) Financial scheme

Families with a combined household income of less than RM4,000 a month can apply for Nilai UC’s Education for All (EFA) Financial scheme. All that is required to commence a programme of the student’s choice (except Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) is a payment of RM600. Tuition fees will be covered by a full PTPTN loan and shortfall in the amount will be waived. Accommodation will also be provided free of charge.


For those with a combined household income of above RM4,000 a month, the same applies except that any shortfall from the PTPTN loan is to be paid in interest-free instalments and free accommodation is not applicable.


Nilai UC also rewards high scorers in the examinations. Students who score 10As in SPM, 3As in STPM or 6As in UEC will be eligible for the Nilai UC High Achiever Scholarship.

MAHSA University College Scholarship 2012

MAHSA University College provides students with a way to overcome these challenges through its scholarships. This scholarship awards between RM1,400 and RM5,250 per student, depending on the SPM results obtained.Full and partial awards will be offered to eligible students.
Eligibility

• Must be Malaysian.
• Aged 24 years or below.
• Have good academic standing and possess an SPM qualification.

To apply for the Foundation in Science Scholarship, students must first apply for a place in the FIS programme. Applicants can download the application form for the Haji Abdullah Scholarship from here.

Yayasan Khazanah Merdeka Scholarship 2012 online

Yayasan Khazanah Merdeka Scholarship 2012 – applications are invited from Malaysian citizens for the Merdeka Scholarships, tenable from October 20i2. The scholarships are awarded to those wishing to undertake postgraduate degrees at the University of Oxford.

Successful candidates will be of exceptional academic calibre, They will have shown promise as future national
leaders in their respective fields. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how their study will make a beneficial contribution to Malaysia.

The Yayasan Khazanah Merdeka Scholarship 2012 will cover university and college fees, maintenance allowance and return air fares. They will be renewable annually for the duration of the course.

The scholarships are available for any of the disciplines below:

•	Built Environment (Quantity Surveying / Town Planning / Land Surveying / Building Services / Building Management)
•	Engineering (Civil / Mechanical)
•	Arts & Social Science Study (Corporate Communications & International Relations / Psychology / Sociology)

*All courses are subject to trustees’ approval in the year of offering

Eligibility

For Overseas Study
•	Form Five (5) students in 2011
•	Excellent academic track record in Form 4 & 5, with no less than 7 A+/A in relevant subjects in the SPM examinations.
For Local Study
•	STPM or matriculation students in 2011, results announced recently, for university enrollment in September 2012
•	Outstanding Academic achievement in STPM/Matriculation with minimum CGPA of 3.50

All applicants must be Malaysian citizens. Proficient in English, hardworking, and possess positive personality traits. Having an outstanding extra-curricular record will be advantageous to your application.

The scholarship covers academic expenses including tuition and examination fees, air-fares (for overseas study), insurance, as well as allowances for books, computer and subsistence.

Terms and Conditions

•	The applicant must have a good command of written and spoken English.
•	The applicant must not be bonded to other institutions or organizations.
•	The successful applicant shall not accept any other scholarships or forms of financial aid from other sources whatsoever while his/her agreement with UEM Group is still in force.
•	The successful applicants are subject to (i) the terms and conditions stated in the scholarship and bond agreement, which the successful applicants and respective guarantors are required to enter with UEM Group; and (ii) pass a medical examination at any one of UEM's panel clinics/hospitals.
•	Each applicant is responsible for all cost incurred in the course of applying for the UEM Group Scholarships.
•	UEM Group shall not be responsible or liable for any problem, loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by the applicant(s) due to any delay and/or failure in submitting his/her application online as a result of any network, communication or system error, interruption and/or failure experienced by the applicant’s internet service provider and/or by UEM Group.
•	All decisions of UEM Group in any matter in relations to the UEM Group Scholarships shall be final and no discussion or correspondence will be entertained.

Minimum Requirements

• Malaysian
• Good communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and potential
• Actively involved in extra-curricular activities and sporting events
• Candidates with at least a conditional offer from universities as specified by Yayasan Sime Darby will be given FIRST priority. Scholarship will only be effective upon receiving firm offer.
• Students who are currently pursuing degrees at selected local universities are encouraged to apply

Minimum Academic Achievement

• STPM (minimum 3A)
• Local Matriculation / Diploma (CGPA of at least 3.5)
• Individual pursuing their first year undergraduate studies must have latest CGPA at least 3.5

Note : Previous academic achievements will be taken into consideration.

Biasiswa Tunku Abdul Rahman 2012

 

SYARAT-SYARAT PERMOHONAN

(i)   Warganegara Malaysia.
(ii)  Umur tidak melebihi 25 tahun pada tarikh tutup permohonan.

(b) Syarat Kelayakan Akademik dan Ko-kurikulum :

(i)  Pelajar STPM / Asas / Matrikulasi yang lulus minimum PNGK 3.75.
(ii)  Pemohon juga dibuka kepada pelajar-pelajar yang sedang dalam pengajian ijazah pertama IPT tempatan dalam negara jika mencapai  minimum PNGK 3.75.
(iii) Kepujian dalam Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris di peringkat SPM.
(iv)  Memiliki kualiti kepimpinan yang terserlah dan penyertaan yang aktif dalam kokurikulum (terutama di peringkat luar sekolah / universiti).

*Calon yang berjaya hanya ditentukan selepas menerima keputusan sebenar peperiksaan. Pemberian biasiswa        tertakluk kepada  pemohon diterima masuk Institusi Pengajian Tinggi tempatan Negara.

(c) Syarat Tambahan :

Penerima BIASISWA TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN diperlukan berkhidmat untuk negara sekurang-kurangnya lima (5) tahun selepas tamat pengajian yang ditaja.

Kadar Biasiswa adalah mengikut kadar yang berkuat kuasa semasa. Pemberian Biasiswa Tunku Abdul Rahman ditetentukan secara  muktamad dan mutlak oleh Lembaga Pemegang Amanah Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Syarat Asas Memohon Biasiswa Petronas 2012

• Calon-calon mestilah menggunakan keputusan SPM 2011.
• Calon-calon mestilah warganegara Malaysia.
• Calon-calon mestilah berumur sekurang-kurangnya 17 tahun dan tidak melebihi 19 tahun pada tahun 2012.
• Mempunyai ciri-ciri kepimpinan serta aktif di dalam aktiviti ko-kurikulum.

Cara Memohon Biasiswa Petronas :

1. Permohonan mestilah dibuat secara “online” sahaja melalui laman sesawang berikut : http://spmonline.petronas.com.my/index.php
2. Sila baca dengan teliti Panduan Permohonan dan Panduan Mengisi Borang. Untuk muat turun, sila klik Panduan Permohonan dan Panduan Mengisi Borang.
3. Bagi permohonan Biasiswa Pendidikan PETRONAS ke Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), pemohon dikehendaki mengisi 2 borang :-
   i) Kemasukan ke UTP di laman web http://www.utp.edu.my
   DAN
   ii) Program Biasiswa Pendidikan PETRONAS ke UTP di laman ini.
   

   • Sekiranya anda tidak berbuat demikian, permohonan anda tidak akan diproses.
   • Unit “Sponsorship & Talent Sourcing” PETRONAS akan menyemak status permohonan anda ke UTP melalui Unit Kemasukan Pelajar UTP.
4. Bagi permohonan Biasiswa Pendidikan PETRONAS ke Universiti Luar Negara, pemohon dikehendaki mengisi borang di laman berikut : http://spmonline.petronas.com.my/index.php
5. Ibu bapa dinasihatkan supaya memohon bagi pihak pelajar yang sedang mengikuti kursus Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) atau berada di luar negara.

Pemohon yang disenarai-pendek akan dipanggil untuk melalui proses penilaian di “PETRONAS EduQuest Camp” pada bulan April 2012. Proses pemilihan terakhir akan dibuat selepas “PETRONAS EduQuest Camp”.

Keputusan Tawaran Biasiswa Petronas 2012 :

Keputusan tawaran biasiswa petronas 2012 akan dimaklumkan pada bulan Mei 2012.

Permohonan secara “online” dibuka mulai 9.00 pagi, 21 Mac 2012.

Tarikh tutup permohonan adalah pada 5.00 petang, 28 Mac 2012.

Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies 2012

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that theJapanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) Scholarships for undergraduate studies is now open for Malaysian students who wish to study at Japanese universities as undergraduate students for the academic year 2012.

The Government of Japan offers the following scholarship programmes each year for Malaysian nationals to apply. Interested applicants are advised to read the guidelines carefully. Unless stated otherwise, scholarship applications should be made to the Embassy of Japan, Kuala Lumpur.

Eligibility

• Be Malaysian citizens
• Be from 17 to 22 years old as of 1^st April, 2012
• Have completed SPM / O-level with at 11 years of formal education (excluding remove class). STPM students (lower or upper) and those who will sit for A-Level, Diploma, UEC or Matriculation examination this year may also apply, provided that the results will be known by March 2012.
• Academic requirement: A (SPM/ UEC/ Matriculation/A-Level) or B+ (STPM/) or CGPA 3.4 and above (Diploma), in English/MUET (5 or 6), Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics/ Biology for those applying for Natural Science A and B; and English/MUET (5 or 6) & Mathematics for those applying for Social Science & Humanities courses.
• Be willing to learn the Japanese language and to receive university education in the Japanese language.

Value of Scholarship
Estimated monthly allowances of 125, 000 yen (approx RM4,550) will be given to each grantee during the term of his / her scholarship.  Fees for the entrance examination, matriculation and tuition at universities will be exempted.
