PKR leaders slammed Umno for springing on the Malaysian public the latest sex video conspiracy “with a twist”, involving a senior PAS leader and an unknown woman, while at the same time putting the blame on PKR.
“It has all the trademarks of the Umno-backed bloggers and to even imply that it is done by PKR shows how low the standard of understanding and political maturity among the very people whom Umno has given full support to create the slanders,” Rafizi Ramli, the PKR strategy director told Malaysia Chronicle.
Meanwhile, the alleged PAS leader Mustafa Ali has denied being the man in the video and has appointed a lawyer to look into the accusations.
“This is a pure slander campaign by Umno. We do not suspect anyone else but the work of Umno. My client denies it. The video suddenly appeared,” his lawyer Asmuni Awi told the press.
