Karthi's salary up to Rs 14 crores

Rajni and Kamal Haasan are supposed to be the highly paid actors as far as Tamil film industry are concerned. Next to them, Ajith, Surya, Vijay and Vikram are getting more salary.

Now Karthi has also joined in this list. Karthi has so far acted in Paruthiveeran, Aayirathil Oruvan, Naan Mahan Alla, Paiyaa, Siruthai and Saguni. Many are wondering that how was it possible for Karthi to join this list after acting only in six films.

Karthi in his first film Paruthiveeran captured the hearts of the people by his extraordinary acting but the film Aayirathil Oruvan did not do well at the box office. The film Naan Mahan Alla made people speak that Karthi looked like the next door boy.

The films Paiyaa and Siruthai had only helped Karthi to fall in line with actors Ajith, Vijay, Surya and Vikram. Especially the film Siruthai filled the coffers of the box office in A , B and C centres. After one and half years, the film Saguni was released but this did not get the recognition of the audience as expected.

A leading Tamil film producer has approached Karthi for his dates. He has also mentioned that he will pay Rs 14 Crores as salary if Karthi gives the dates.

Ajith, Vijay, Surya and Vikram got this salary after struggling for many years but Karthi has reached this stage just after completing only six films.Karthi fans are confident that though Saguni has pulled Karthi legs, Alex Pandian will give him a helping hand.
