There is a big question mark that what film Surya will act after Maatraan. This question mark has become an exclamatory mark now. Surya after completing Maatran will be acting in a film to be directed by Shankar.
This film will also have political shade like the films Gentleman, Indian and Mudalvan directed by Shankar. Surya who had earlier given dates to Hari has now given all these dates to Shankar.
Suresh and Bala have completed the dialogue portions for this film. The pre-production work of this film has been completed and Shankar is waiting for Surya to commence the shooting. Initially Shankar was supposed to cast Vikram in the lead role but he has selected Surya taking into the account of Tamil and Telugu markets.
