Review

It's Transformers at sea as a titanic alien invasion force rears out of the Pacific and takes on the might of the US Navy. Liam Neeson plays stern-jawed sea salt Admiral Shane and Rihanna is an unlikely weapons specialist in director Peter Berg’s big-budget transfer of the children's game into an adult (well kind of) sci-fi action blockbuster. The bolshie extra-terrestrials - armed with a formidable array of otherworldly weaponry - want to build a power source in the sea...but Uncle Sam's jolly jack tars ain't having any of it.
