Indian students can begin applying for the RM6.5mil in scholarships secured by the MIC’s higher education bureau for SPM school leavers.
The scholarships will also be offered to needy students with average results to take up courses in skills training, said Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk S.K. Devamany.
Devamany, who is also an MIC vice-president, advised applicants to pursue courses of their interest, and not that of their parents.
