Kamal-Surya in Shankar's Indian 2 ? Rumour Mills states that Kamal and Surya will be acting together in indian part 2

Indian 2: Suriya joins with Kamal Hassan ?
The second part of "Indian" directed by Shankar is on the anvil. Reports says, Kamal Hassan, who played the role of Indian in the first part, appears in the second part as the grandfather of Suriya who is out to take revenge on his grandfather for the death of his father. Kamal Haasan played both the aged father and son in the original version.The sequel is expected to cost rupees 125 crores and Shankar will begin his work after completing the works of "I" which has Vikram as the hero. "Indian" was produced by A M Ratnam with music by A R Rahman and the star cast included, besides Kamal Hassan, celebrity actors such as Koundamani, Senthil, Manisha Koirala, Urmila, Sukanya and Nedumuni Venu in important roles. The movie was produced at a cost of 12 crores of rupees and harvested Rs.30 crores from the box-office.

Bollywood is always second says Vikram

Chiyaan Vikram has been getting big offers in Hindi film industry, but has been keeping them away due to certain reasons.

 

While addressing the media channels in Mumbai over the promotional activity of his recent release 'David', the actor said that he gets paid big in the south and so doesn't want to leave it and opt for Hindi film industry.

Adding more about his upcoming film I, he said, "My next film I directed by Shankar is produced at a whopping budget of 145Crores and I wouldn't leave and go to any Hindi movies. 

 

It is same with other actors as they too feel the same as well. Kamal Haasan did a couple of movies 'Ek Tuja Keliye' and 'Saagar' that were blockbusters, but sooner left that way.

 

Rana Daggubati had the Bollywood as his top priority and is now sticking to the same idea giving up more south offers.

Kadhal Maniratnam's latest film

New face Thulasi has donned the female lead role in the film Kadal directed by Manirathnam. She is the daughter of the yester year popular heroine Radha.

Karthik’s son Gowtham had donned the lead role in this film. Thulasi while speaking about this film said, “I am lucky to get the opportunity to act in Kadal.

Suhasini and my mother Radha are close friends. Manirathnam spoke to my mother and asked that whether I was willing to act in his film. My parents asked me about my opinion. I could never believe this initially.

Without even giving a thought I agreed. Working with Manirathnam is an unforgettable experience. He can make anyone act well. He taught me a lot about acting.

He advised me not to act and be myself before the camera. He asked me to bring out my own character. My mother and sister Karthika was very helpful to me. They told me to understand the director and act.”
